Happy Valentines Day

Its Valentines Day..... and I finally just about have our pictures and blog caught up from last year! I didn't realize I had let so much time go by. We made heart shaped sugar cookies last night, and the kids worked on their valentines over the weekend. The kids are looking forward to their class parties today. Tonight we will have heart shaped pizza, heart shaped ice-cubes in our drink, and a fun Family Home Evening together passing out valentines to each other!!

2011 Theme

Bret picks a theme for our family each January. This year, he picked the theme... 'Families are Forever'. We are excited for the new year, and excited to make many more memories together as a family.

Tanners 5th Birthday

Tanner had a great birthday. For his big 5th birthday we took him to pirate island pizza and the kids all had a great time! I can't believe how fast the kids are growing up!!

Christmas

The only thing that TylerKate wanted Santa to bring her was a "Birthday Cake!".
We had a great Christmas and lots of Christmas memories during the season. Singing, looking at Christmas lights, going to temple square, putting up the treat, doing secret santas, baking holiday treats, and much much more..... We enjoyed a really nice day together as a family.

Children's Choir

Sami and Bret had the unique opportunity of being able to sing in a childrens choir that performed parts of the messiag and other christmas carols at several locations including the Provo Tabernacle and at the Assembly Hall on Temple Square. They did such a great job and it was a really neat experience to see them sing.

Thanksgiving

We had a lot of Brets family here for Thanksgiving. It turned out really nice.... lots of food..... lots of fun....... lots to be thankful for!

Mesquite Marathon

Windy Day!!!! Hard run, but still turned out to be a great experience.

Trip to Idaho

We enjoyed a trip up to Idaho to see everyone. Time together with family, fall walks and pumkin desserts at Kristi's. It was a great weekend trip. I only wish it were longer!!!

BIg Red Barn

Another family favorite! It was so fun to have mom and dad come down and pick out pumkins, go on a hayride, and eat ice cream at the big red barn!!

More River Trail Pictures

Beautiful!! We like to go here as a family to go on walks, and this is one of my FAVORITE places to run!!

Provo River Trail

Pictures from last fall..... this is one of our favorite fall places! We had some warm fall days and the leaves were exceptionally bright and colorful this year.
